Jan mainly fills expert and executive positions in companies from the area of trade and foreign commerce.
He completed his commercial training in an import/ export company in Hamburg and worked many years as an employee as well as independent trader. In 1995 he completed his degree in "Studies in Management".

Jan's expert competency was gained both home and abroad, among others during one year in Argentina. He worked for major consolidated companies with 50,000 employees as well as for smaller companies with just 8 employees. Experience as an independent businessman has allowed him to further develop his expertise.

From 1983 to 1986, Jan was active as import merchant in the Theodor Wille company before becoming an independent trader for citrus concentrates. At the beginning of the nineties, he set up a Europe-wide, and later, global marketing organisation for his former main supplier, whom he still advises on strategic plans and supports in the area of sales.

Since 2006, Jan has worked, aside from his activity as importer and trader, as coach in the area of business- and personality-coaching.
His activity as coach is based on his extensive knowledge of human nature and a multitude of certified further education programs including NLP.

Jan speaks fluent English and has a very good command of Spanish and Portuguese. He is married and has a son and a daughter.
